Will has resigned from the office of Vice President. Nominations are now open for that office. To date, Allan Deutsch has been nominated. The election for VP will also take place on March 7. Bimonthly Newsletter (February 2004): =========================================================== Last meeting's minutes: Held on January 31, 2004 at the Blankenship's. Started at 10:04 AM. Demetra nominated. Nominations for president opened. CW nominated. Nominations will close on February 15. Please make your nominations by contacting the Conley's and the Chapman's before then. The voting will take place at the March 7 meeting. If you can't make it, please place your vote in a sealed envelope and have another property owner bring it to the meeting. Road maintenance: Due to the county continually changing the rules of the game, we decided to no longer pursue turning the road over to the county. We will instead make monthly payments of $35 per property owner to maintain a rock road. The first dues must be paid on or before March 7 to the Chapmans. All dues from then on will be due the first of each month. We will confirm how to make payments at the March 7 meeting. I had mine installed January 4 and love it. The company you can order it from is www.vsswireless.com - 972-784-6630. The cost is ~$300 for the equipment, ~$150 for the install (I can install it for you for free if you provide materials ~$15 for antenna pole), and monthly charge of $39.95. Please tell them CW Karstens referred you. - 3) Chapmans have tarp material feed sacks that can be used to cover barbeque grills, outdoor furniture etc. Please contact them if you are interested. 4) Do something about ditch erosion near Bartek's property. 5) CW would like to add businesses you use to the links page. The hope is that others can compare companies for cheaper prices or know about services they may not otherwise find out about. Examples are trash pickup, telephone/water/electrical service, propane delivery etc. ============================================================ |
